I have been going to Lance Christopher salon in Beverly Hills for Years and have never had any of the problems mentioned in some of the reviews.  I

I am not an easy person to please. I have never been given a reason to find a new stylist.

For my  birthday we spent the week in CA and I decided it would be a blast to get my hair done in Beverly Hills. I did some online searching and I came across this salon. I was very excited when I was told I would be able to get an appointment with Lance on Tuesday at 3 pm. I had done my research: looked them up on line at another review site (1 bad review and 2 good), reviewed his website, and watched him on youtube. I felt that he appeared to be very professional.

Upon arrival the "salon" was nothing more then a cramped space in an office building with mirrors hanging off wires and one customer waiting. There was no one at the front desk and my mother went through the alcove labeled "spa" looking for a restroom. Lance came out of a back room and rudely asked what she was doing. I explained that she was looking for a restroom, he directed her into the building and down the hall. Lance was dressed very poorly for the level of stylist that he portrayed on his sight. A belt hanging open, a t-shirt with holes and jeans that were worn on the bottoms is not what I saw in pictures or on youtube.  He said he was dressed like that because he didn't want to be late for his client and rushed out of the house.  I don't think this a proper excuse. If you work in Beverly Hills dress the part and where expensive designer cloths. I dont care how good the cut is i don't like someone who looks poor doing my hair.
To be fair I did not get my hair done there. Lance said he didn't think he could strip my hair and remove the black and make it blond.  but frankly I was terrified of the possible results.

very very very good services, I  visitng from Japan.  I believe Lance said  great with asian hair, and he is.  Go him.  I wish i lived there..

I've been going to Lance Christopher Salon for years and they always do great work. I go every six weeks to get my highlights done and my hair cut. They have reasonable prices, and the stylists help me out if I have any questions about the color or the cut or anything else. One time, I made the mistake of bleaching my own hair because I thought I wanted to go blonde, but it was a disaster... I quickly went back to Lance, and he did his magic. He seems to be really good at fixing color mishaps. All in all, great salon.

I recently had to find a new stylist in LA. The girl that had been doing my hair for 10 years had decided to retire after her third child was born. The salon she worked at was in Beverly Hills and the prices were so high, I couldnt afford to move to a new stylist in that salon, and her prices were low for me since she had been doing my hair since she was a brand new stylist.
I ended up googling beverly hills salons and went to see Caitlin at Lance Christopher. Caitlin managed to work through my very picky attitude about my hair, not to mention my grief at losing my long time stylist. She put me at ease right away and listened to all of my requirements that i have for my cut and color prefrences and everything came out exactly how i wanted it. I never thought i would be so lucky to find someone so quickly...I've heard so many horror stories about trying to find a good stylist! I thought she deserved a good write up from me, to let others know about her talent so they can find someone this good as quickly as i did.
Caitlin is a perfectionist however, and the servie of color, highlites and cut and blow out did take 3 1/2 hour...luckily she works late 3 times a week, i came in on a weds at 5pm, and she was happy to take her time to do it right, no rushing me out the door!
